Tree
of Thanks

What you need:
Construction paper or fun foam - brown, yellow, orange, red and
green
Black marker
Scissors
Craft glue
Quarter
Family pictures
Leaf patterns
What to do:
Family Tree
1. Draw and cut out a tree with lots of branches.
2. Trace and cut out enough maple or oak leaves from different
colors for each member of your family.
3. Trace the quarter in the middle of the leaf, then cut out
the circle.
Place the quarter over the face of each family member and trace
around
the quarter, leaving a border.
4. Carefully glue the faces onto the leaves. Allow to dry completely.
5. Glue the leaves onto the tree.
6. With the black marker, write your last name on one line, then"
Family" on the next line.
Thankful Tree
1. Draw and cut out a tree with lots of branches.
2. Trace the leaves onto different colors, approximately eight,
then cut
out.
3. On each leaf, use the black marker to write one thing you're
thankful
for.
4. Glue the leaves onto the tree. Allow to dry completely.
Optional:
. Cut a trunk from the brown construction paper or fun foam and
leaves
from the green. Cut out apples so that the tops are joined and
fold in half.
Write each family member's name on the front. On the inside,
write one
thing about the person that you're thankful for. Glue the apples
onto the
tree.
