because we have no territories, you can even take it with you

I love the fact
that Home and Garden Party is a Christian-based company, run on
good ethics, morals, and fairness. It’s not an “in
your face” style, but one of genuine caring. It is a very
simple business and is very easy to learn and operate. And the
flexibility, extra money and incentives are awesome!
What’s
the hardest part about your business?
The hardest thing
about this business is not buying everything for yourself! That,
and staying away from all of the great food and desserts at the
parties!
How much
does it cost initially? What is the refund policy? Ongoing expenses?
Hostess gifts?
The company offers
three different kits to choose from, each containing over $300.00
of products, sales aids, and training materials-for only $150.00.
We offer a great trial program, and if you decide that the company
isn’t for you, the kit investment is refunded to you. The
only ongoing expenses you will have would be if you purchased
additional sales or training aids, such as catalogs. Because our
hostess program is so generous, your business will be continuous.
Not only do Home and Garden Party Hostesses receive 20% of their
party sales in free products of choice, but they also receive
a half-price item for every $100.00 in sales, in addition to all
of the free goodies they receive when others schedule parties
from theirs!
How much commission or
compensation do you receive? How do you advance to leadership?
From day one, you
begin making 30% commission on everything you sell. Once you sell
your first $1500.00 (which generally takes less than two months,
depending on how many parties you hold), your commission jumps
to 40%. This is also your personal discount when you order products
for yourself. You also have override commissions, sponsor bonuses,
possible infinity bonuses, and tons of incentives. You may choose
to advance in the program by sponsoring other designers into the
company.
What is a realistic
show sales average or monthly sales average?
Depending on where
you live, the average Home and Garden Party is around $300.00.
The average time you invest into a party, including drive time,
set up, ordering, and communications with the hostess, is 3 ½
hours. At a 40% commission, your profit would be about $120.00.
Divide that by 3 ½ hours, and your making over $30.00 an
hour! If you hold eight parties a month, you’re looking
at somewhere around $960.00 profit for only 28 hours of party
time!
Do you keep
your own inventory and make deliveries?
You are not required
to keep any inventory on hand, unless you just want to! And, you
can even choose whether or not you’d like to make deliveries.
The company is set up so you can have orders sent to you, or directly
to the hostess!
What’s
the minimum requirement to stay active?
There
are no monthly minimums, and no quotas that a designer must meet
to stay active. Every year on your anniversary date, you will
need to renew your Independent Contractor status with the company,
for a $25.00 fee. As long as you place at least one retail order,
you will be in active status. But, if you want to qualify and
receive your override or sponsoring bonuses, you will need to
sell $300.00 a month.
What skills
and experience are required? What kind of training do you receive
when joining?
There are no special
skills or experience required to sell Home and Garden Party products.
The company provides tons of training, and you will have a great
support system helping you achieve your goals. There are monthly
meetings, regional meetings, national rallies, email loops, online
training, telephone conferences, and more! All you need is the
spirit to try something new, and a desire to capture your dreams!

How
are your products or services sold? Can you sell online? Can you
advertise online? What are the restrictions for selling?
Home and Garden Party
designers have the advantage of bringing their store directly to
their customers. The Party Plan system of selling is a warm and
positive sales method, so the majority of our products are sold
at in-home presentations. We are not limited to how we sell- we
may have catalog orders, participate in fairs or booths, have displays,
or whatever you can think of, with one exception. Designers cannot
sell from any permanent retail store, fleamarket, website, or any
online auction such as Ebay. You are, however, authorized to advertise
online.
