Lisa's dream was to someday write a book. She grew tired of it just being a dream, so put the wheels in motion. She enrolled on a distant learning course for creative writing, and has never looked back.

Once her quest for knowledge had begun, she decided to enrol on another course - this time in proofreading. She has gained merit/distinctions on all of her assignments.

She had to give up her part-time job in April 2002 for health reasons, but saw this as a sign that she was destined to be a freelance writer/proofreader. It would tie-in nicely with her hectic life as a wife, and as a mother to three beautiful children. She has one daughter (12), and two sons (9 and 4). She is now looking for a course with a circus - so she can learn the art of juggling !!

Her work has appeared in mainstream and small press magazines in the UK, and also on the World Wide Web. She is currently a proofreader for TV Megasite.net.
