My name is Jewles. I am eight. I live in Canada, it’s pretty big and nice, too. I like to play outside. Today I’m sleeping over at my sister's house. I like colouring, and I like to make things with my sister. My big sister likes rats, and has three boys. They are good pets. Sam is black and has a white belly and paws. Sam is fluffy. He is funny. Sam is a jumper. One time we were playing in the bathtub and Sam pooped on me. It was funny. He slipped when he was trying to jump because the bathtub is slippery. He stuck his head in the bathtub drain, it was funny. Merry is black and white, he’s black on his head. Merry is scared when he comes out, so we just visit with him when he’s inside his cage. Smeagol digs in his litter box and makes a mess. He likes to nibble my fingers. Sometimes he licks me and plays with my hair. He’s white, all white. Smeagol is soft.

I like playing with my sister's rats in the bathroom. I like feeding them. I like to play with them. I pet them. Rats are good pets.

"Free ranging" is a wonderful thing to share with your rats, and a bathroom is the perfect place to let them run free: a safe room where they can’t get into much trouble. Letting your rats out of their cage to run for a few hours is great exercise, for them and you. Sounds like you do a great job of helping take care of Sam, Merry, and Smeagol.
